A Weekend Full of Chamber Music: Saturday Masterclass, Sunday Soirees, and I'Solisti ensemble in Northbrook

On Saturday Nov. 17, our chamber music students perform in a masterclass from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at our MYAC Center in Highwood taught by Caroline Chin, assistant professor of violin at Bowling Green State University's College of Musical Arts.

The following day on Nov. 18, Sunday Soirees take place at 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at Bennett Gordon Hall in Highland Park. Join our MYAC chamber music students as they fill the afternoon with the works of Schubert, Beethoven, Mozart and more.

Later on Sunday, our select I'Solisti ensemble will give a free public recital of Baroque and Classical era works at the Northbrook Public Library at 3 p.m. I'Solisti is a small, select chamber orchestra of soloists chosen to perform a series of concerts in public schools and special venues during each season. The ensemble is directed by Charles Pikler, the former principal violist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
